Bailey completes Boro switch
Charlton captain Nicky Bailey has completed his move to Middlesbrough.
The 26-year-old midfielder has signed a three-year deal with the npower Championship club.
"We are delighted to sign Nicky. He scores goals and all different kinds of goals," Boro boss Gordon Strachan told the club`s official website.
"He can play left-side of midfield or centre midfield and he is self motivated. There is also a devil inside him when he plays and you sometimes need that."
Bailey has scored 51 goals in 221 Football League games for Barnet, Southend and Charlton.
