Arsenal outcast Senderos in line to quit Emirates for £5.2m Bordeaux move

Bordeaux are ready to make a £5.2million move for Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos. The French club want the 24-year-old Switzerland defender as a replacement for former Charlton defender Souleymane Diawara, who joined Marseille this week. Former Gunners defender Martin Keown has tipped Senderos to come back stronger from a year-long loan at AC Milan last season. But he played only a bit-part and the Italian giants did not take up an option to make the deal permanent. Arsene Wenger may well see £5.2m as good business after signing the 6ft 3in centre-half from Servette for £2.5m six years ago.
