Addicks undone by Dons

Charlton went down 2-0 to AFC Wimbledon at Kingsmeadow in their opening friendly of the summer. Javon Molloy fired the Dons into a 50th-minute lead when he reacted well after Charlton goalkeeper Rob Elliot had saved well from Ismael Yakubu. Lee Minshull tapped home the second from close range after blistering work on the left from Andre Blackman. The Addicks went close late in the first half when Icelandic triallist Gunnar Thorvaldsson took the ball round Wimbledon goalkeeper Jack Turner only to see his shot cleared off the line by Brett Johnson.
