Addicks trip in doubt

Charlton's match at Rochdale on Saturday looks "increasingly unlikely" to go ahead, according to Spotland officials. Dale will hold a pitch inspection at 9.30am on Friday but with further snowfall forecast in Greater Manchester the fixture is in serious doubt. "Like many clubs we are at the mercy of the weather," said chief executive Colin Garlick. "Although we have and are doing everything possible to play the game this weekend, it is looking increasingly unlikely the game will go ahead."
