Addicks stung by Bees

Glenn Poole grabbed the only goal as Barnet secured a 1-0 win over Charlton in their pre-season friendly at Underhill. The winger struck from close range in the 55th minute after being teed up by Mark Byrne on the right. The match got off to a bad start for Charlton when new signing Alan McCormack had to go off injured after falling to the ground with no Barnet player near him. Scott Wagstaff came close to levelling but his header flew wide while on-trial striker Steve Kabba put in a lively performance for the Bees.
