Veteran striker Carl Cort gave the Bees the lead two minutes after coming on at half-time when he diverted Marcus Bean's cross-shot home from close range.[LNB]But Charlton, who were missing suspended former Brentford players Sam Sodje and Deon Burton, took just 10 minutes to level when Chris Dickson's run onto a through-ball was ended by the lunging hand of Brentford keeper Lewis Price, who escaped with a yellow card.[LNB]Addicks skipper Nicky Bailey drilled the penalty into the roof of the net to set up a grandstand finish.[LNB]He said: "Saturday's game when we played for so long with nine men took a lot out of the boys but they showed tremendous character to fight back. I think we had enough chances before half-time to come in two goals up at the break and on the coach home we will be thinking about what might have been if we had taken some of them."[LNB]He added: "We've only lost two games in 24 and that is a terrific return at this stage of the season. To come here with a make-shift team and take a point is a good result."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
