Addicks attempt to generate funds
In a letter to shareholders, plc chairman Derek Chappell outlined plans to raise around £1.5million to put back into the club as the Addicks prepare for life in League One next season.[LNB]"The board has undertaken a comprehensive review to identify sources of new funding and working capital," said Chappell, who recently loaned the club £500,000.[LNB]"Three properties in New Eltham together provide the training and development facilities for the football club, the youth academy and the community trust. It was therefore agreed to examine the potential for a sale and leaseback of these training facilities."[LNB][LNB]
