Abbott relishing Latics reunion
Charlton striker Pawel Abbott is looking forward to a swift reunion with former club Oldham on Saturday.
Abbott joined the Addicks in the summer having faced them on the final day of last term as an Oldham player.
Both sides boast 100% records in League One with two wins out of two to set up an early-season top-of-the-table encounter, and Abbott is not surprised to see his old side start so well.
"It's come around quickly, and it will be nice to see the boys again," he said.
"I wouldn't say they are a surprise package, as it was only really last season they had an average season. Before then, they have always been a half-decent team.
"I think they will be good strong opposition for next week."
