Winning comes before style - Lennon

eil Lennon insists that winning games must be his number one priority as Celtic manager.[LNB] But the Hoops boss has assured fans he is doing all he can to ensure they are also being entertained along the way.[LNB]Celtic return to action this weekend with a daunting trip to Tannadice as they take on Dundee United following the international break.[LNB]They head into the match still level on points with rivals Rangers at the summit of the SPL, with both Glasgow giants boasting 100% records so far.[LNB]With a crucial Old Firm derby looming in a couple of weeks, Lennon is determined to see Celtic maintain that record.[LNB]But he believes he also has the players at his disposal who are capable of more than merely grinding out results.[LNB]He told Huddle Online: "I want my team, firstly, to go out and win the game.[LNB]"Every game we play is a must-win game for us. The bonus of that is that we play in a certain style.[LNB]"I think we have brought players in here who can play an attacking style of football and we have players who are decent defensively too.[LNB]"We are building as we go along and are looking for the right ingredients all the time - to put a team out that the fans enjoy watching and which is a winning team into the bargain."[LNB]For those players who were not on international duty, Celtic made use of the break from club football with a friendly against Bohemians in Dublin, a match they won 4-1 at the weekend.[LNB]And Lennon also made the most of some extra free time to pick up some pointers from the best footballing nation in the world.[LNB]He added: "I miss the games, but it does give me the opportunity to go and watch other teams.[LNB]"I was fortunate enough to get taken to the Scotland-Spain game and it was a pleasure to be there and a terrific advert for football.[LNB]"It was a pleasure to watch Spain play and Scotland played very well too."
