Wilson pens Bhoys extension

Celtic defender Mark Wilson has put pen to paper on a three-year contract extension at Parkhead.

The 24-year-old full-back joined the Bhoys from Dundee United in January 2006 and has been a mainstay in the side that has won three successive Scottish Premier League titles.

"It feels great to sign the new contract," he told the club's official website.

"I've been at Celtic for a while now and we managed to come to an agreement really quickly.

"I'm looking forward to spending at least the next three-and-a-half years here.

"I've always been a Celtic supporter and it was easy decision to sign the contract.

"There is a lot to look forward to and it's great that the manager has shown so much faith in me."
