Wilson hungry for return

Celtic full-back Mark Wilson feels he is ready to make a contribution to the team following injury but he realises he will have to be patient. Wilson played in the 6-0 victory over Inverness in the Co-operative Insurance Cup last month after recovering from a groin problem. But he is yet to play in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League this season with the team currently on a 15-match winning streak in the competition. Wilson told the Celtic View: "I've played the last few reserve games, maybe three or four now, and the first-team game against Inverness in the League Cup, so I'm not lacking in match fitness. "It was just a case that I was out through injury and the team's been performing well. Sometimes that happens in football and you just have to bide your time. "I'm back being involved training every day and have been for a good few weeks now."
