Sion could be Kelvin Wilson's first European challenge on Thursday Kelvin Wilson is looking forward to making his European debut against  Swiss side Sion when they visit Parkhead on Thursday in the first leg of the Europa League play-offs. The defender said:  "I've been told European nights at Celtic Park are really special. It's loud and the atmosphere is buzzing so it would be nice to be selected to sample that. When I first signed, the gaffer mentioned it to me and I spoke to Alan Thompson and Johan (Mjallby). Supporters have also talked about it as well. I've got a good friend, Sammy Clingan, who's at Coventry City just now, and he is a massive, massive Celtic fan. He has been up here to see the team up here and knows all about it. And he told me when I first signed: 'Kelv, wait to you play in Europe, it's an unbelievable atmosphere'. So I'm really looking forward to it." Manager Neil Lennon is looking to restore Parkhead's reputation as a fortress in European football after falling at the first hurdle of both competitions to Braga and FC Utrecht last season, although Celtic won both home legs. Wilson said: "I think every player at club level, the highest stage you can play on is European football, so hopefully we can crack on in it this year and get Champions League football next year and in the years to come. Not many players get to do it, so if you get the chance - take it with both hands. But we need to overcome Sion first of all and it's going to be a tough game."
