Celtic secured three consecutive victories for only the second time under Tony Mowbray when they beat Aberdeen 3-0 last weekend to stay top of the table.[LNB]That followed a run of two victories in 10 games, but Gannon said: "It's a great time to get them.[LNB]"I would love to see a Celtic team playing at their best and see my team raise their standards to match them.[LNB]"There was no doubt they were going to get going. You have got to remember that both (Old Firm) teams have had a lot of turmoil - a change of manager and different issues going on behind the scenes.[LNB]"They have had European football, which hasn't always allowed them to build their confidence or flow.[LNB]"I would expect both teams now, Celtic and Rangers, to start showing some solid form over the winter period, when they are just concentrating purely on SPL results, and I think we are starting to see that with Celtic.[LNB]"It's going to be a tough game but it's also going to be a great game for us as well."[LNB]Motherwell have secured goalless draws against both Glasgow clubs this season and Gannon is looking for his players to improve on their "flat" 2-0 defeat by Hibernian.[LNB]"We've shown good form in both Old Firm games and shown we're capable of not being overawed by the situation," Gannon added.[LNB]"We held on to possession quite well in both games, created a little bit of penetration and won a number of set-plays that gave us an opportunity to win the game.[LNB]"But Celtic were a powerful force, especially in the closing stages of both halves, and they were very unfortunate not to get a win in that game.[LNB]"We rode our luck and it's up to us now to show we are a good football side, that we can defend well and that we can play good football and create opportunities.[LNB]"There is no better game for us to lift our standards back up to where we set them in those games.[LNB]"I just hope the atmosphere that is generated by this game and the whole energy of it will just give them enough adrenalin to bring back that sparkle."[LNB]The Celtic manager is also expecting a tough challenge in the lunchtime kick-off.[LNB]"They are a very young side, playing football in an enterprising way," Mowbray told the Celtic View.[LNB]"They spread out and back their players' talent, rather than getting too compact.[LNB]"They are a very entertaining team to watch and so far he (Gannon) has managed to get results along the way, so this will be a real test."[LNB][LNB]
