Wanyama on his way

Neil Lennon looks to have found another gem Celtic have agreed terms with Germinal Beerschot's Victor Wanyama and hope to have finalised the deal within 48 hours. If the deal goes through, it will be one up on the likes of Standard Liege, Racing Genk, Rangers and Aston Villa. The deal is said to be worth around £1million to Germinal Beerschot.The Kenyan is the brother of Inter Milan star McDonald Mariga, and made his international debut in an unofficial friendly against Nigeria, aged just 15. Wanyama is excited about the prospect of moving to Glasgow and is ready to join the squad. He said: "I am extremely excited, Celtic is a legendary club. I am looking forward to this, I have had a great time with GBA, and I look forward to the next chapter of my career at Celtic."
