You just never know where the next star will come from Tony Mowbray has given the go ahead to give Australian James Virgili a two-week trial at Parkhead. The Australia Under-20 international appeared to have caught Mowbray and his scouts attention after putting in a strong performance against England in a youth tournament in Cyprus last year. Virgili is keen to take his chance in Scotland. Virgili became the youngest player in A-League history when he made his debut for Newcastle Jets at 16 years and 180 days last season. He said: "I just want to make the most of the opportunity. If it was a smaller club, I would have probably thought twice about going. When it was Celtic, I said yes straight away."
