Tynecastle trip doesn't faze Lennon

Lennon only focused on the football

Neil Lennon insists he will not by fazed by a return to Tynecastle for the first time since the ugly scenes that dominated scottish football towards the end of last season.

Lennon takes his side to the Capital looking to close the gap on SPL leaders Rangers who stretched their lead at the top to nine points with a narrow victory of Hibernian at Ibrox this afternoon.

The spotlight will be on Lennon all afternoon but he insists his sole focus will be on what is happening on the pitch.

He said: "I'm sure measures will be in place and it will probably be the safest place for me to be.

"I am basically more concerned about the way we play and getting the three points.

Lennon also stressed he will only be nervous if his team don't step up to the mark in what will be one yet another tough test on the road.

"The only thing I'm nervous about is my team doesn't play as well as we can. It is a tough game and it is a difficult place to go and win."
