Celtic midfielder Thomas Gravesen was delighted after scoring his first senior hat-trick as the Bhoys won 3-1 at St Mirren to tighten their grip on the SPL title race.
The 30-year-old Denmark ace has often been utilised in a deeper role at Real Madrid, Everton and Hamburg, but is enjoying an increased freedom to get forward.
He said: "I've never scored a hat-trick before - it has taken me 30 years.
"They thought I was a holding midfielder at Real Madrid as well, but that's wrong. I played my best football when I was at Everton, when I was further forward.
"The manager uses me a little bit of both ways here and that suits me very well.
"I do enjoy getting forward and this team gives the me the licence to do that."
