While there is no good time to suffer a broken toes, Daniel Majstorovic could have picked a better time than now. Daniel Majstorovic has fractured a toe on his right foot and will miss the next meeting with Rangers in the Co-operative Insurance Cup final and could also be posted missing for the run-in to the title. The Swedish international defender had to go off at half-time on Saturday during the 2-0 win over Hamilton. The diagnosis suggests he could be out for up to eight weeks, ruling him out of the March 20 Old Firm final at Hampden. A club statement said: "Daniel Majstorovic could be missing for up to eight weeks after picking up an injury in Saturday's 2-0 win over Hamilton. The big defender was forced to come off at half-time and was replaced by Thomas Rogne. After the match, it was discovered that he had suffered a fractured right toe. And following a specialist consultation, it's been estimated the Swedish international will be out of action for six to eight weeks." The set-back piles more pressure on the defensive resources at a pivotal stage of the season. Rogne, Charlie Mulgrew and Glenn Loovens are all options for Neil Lennon to consider as replacements for Majstorovic in central defence.
