Get the chance to listen to John Hartson and Frank McAvennie next month Support the John Hartson Foundation Saturday 20th November 2010 The Football Legend Gala dinner will be held in the magnificent Kerrydale Suite at Celtic Park and will be a night of sport, football and more football. The night will be hosted by Sarah Stirk, BBC Radio Five Live Sports Presenter, and will include entertainment from Raymond NEams. The highlight of the evening is bound to be the two speakers, two of Celtic’s greatest players of modern times;John Hartson and Frank McAvennie will be there to entertain you with the facts and stories any Celtic, or football, fan will want to hear with an audience Q and A session.All proceeds from the evening will go to the John Hartson Foundation, through this foundation Big John is determined to create awareness of testicular cancer after being diagnosed with the disease in 2009. He ignored a lump for four years and the cancer spread to his lungs and brain, he endured numerous brain and lung operations and over 60 chemotherapy sessions, and in January 2010 it was revealed that virtually all of the cancer had been eradicated.Tables for the dinner are available at £750 plus VAT for a table of 10 guests, this includes Pre event drinks reception, 3 course dinner including wine and a professional photographer will be on hand for pictures.
