Take nothing for granted: Brown
Celtic cannot afford to be complacent today as just last season a harsh lesson was handed out Scott Brown has reminded his Celtic team-mates to think of Ross County if they believe the hype that makes them hot favourites to beat Motherwell at Hampden in today's Scottish Cup final. County surprised Celtic in the semi-final stage of the same competition last season when Neil Lennon was in temporary charge. Things have changed since that fateful day with new faces having been brought in under Lennon. And despite losing out to Rangers in the SPL title by one point, they are odds-on to overcome the Steelmen, whom they beat 4-0 in the SPL last week. However, the Celtic captain cautioned against taking anything for granted Brown said: "We have been in this position before, we were strong favourites against Ross County last season and they won to through to the final against Dundee United. So we don't want that feeling again. There is always a question mark. I don't think you can go in to a game expecting to win. We want to win so we have to give everything but Motherwell will come out and give everything. It was a hard couple of days after losing the league but it's a cup final and everyone has to get up for it." There has been a queue of players lining up to back Lennon, who has had a troubled first season in charge, having been sent bullets and parcel bombs and being attacked by a fan at Tynecastle last week. The fans gave an impressive show of support to Lennon during the game against Motherwell last Sunday and the Scotland midfielder is looking for his boss to continue at Parkhead next season. Brown said: "This is Neil Lennon's team. He has brought everyone in and made us play the way we play and I hope he is here for a long time. Everyone knows what he has been through and it would be a great end to the season for us if we could win. The fans were brilliant last week, we can't ask for much more and hopefully we can do it on Saturday."
