Strachan rues slow start

Celtic manager Gordon Strachan was trying to remain positive after seeing the Bhoys start their Champions League Group D campaign with a 2-0 defeat at Shakhtar Donetsk.
The Bhoys were two goals behind after just eight minutes in Ukraine and never truly threatened to get back in the game, leaving them with an uphill struggle to reach the knockout stages of the competition.
Strachan commented: "We can still bounce back from this, we did it last season.
"The defeat doesn't make it any easier, but we lost our first game last season and we had qualified before the last game had been played.
"We came a long way to play and prepare and after eight minutes we were climbing a mountain which we never expected.
"We expected to play against a good side, which they were. The better side won on the night, there is no doubt about that."
