eeds winger Robert Snodgrass will make his first start for Scotland in the friendly against Denmark at Hampden Park on Wednesday.[LNB] Snodgrass is one of several attack-minded midfielders - alongside Steven Naismith and James Morrison - named by boss Craig Levein.[LNB]Allan McGregor continues in goal while Phil Bardsley starts at right-back after Steven Whittaker and Alan Hutton pulled out injured.[LNB]Blackpool's Stephen Crainey starts at left-back and Liverpool defender Danny Wilson partners Gary Caldwell in the centre.[LNB]Scott Brown and Charlie Adam complete the midfield quintet while captain Kenny Miller will play up front on his own.[LNB]Scotland boss Levein has named Snodgrass as a starter after the Leeds winger made two substitute appearances - against Northern Ireland and Brazil - earlier this year.[LNB]The 23-year-old former Livingston player then missed the Carling Nations Cup games against Wales and the Republic of Ireland in May through injury.[LNB]Wilson, 19, also came on against Northern Ireland and Brazil and won the first of his three caps when he started - and scored - in a 3-0 friendly win over the Faroe Islands last year.[LNB]As well as Whittaker and Hutton, Levein also lost Kris Commons to injury.[LNB]Commons reported for Scotland duty wearing a protective boot on a bruised foot before returning to Celtic's Lennoxtown training base for further treatment and Levein announced the winger's withdrawal on Tuesday.[LNB]The Scotland boss, who again announced his team on the Scottish Football Association website, added: "He's quite quickly establishing himself as one of the key players within the group.[LNB]"Somebody else will have to take his place. What is hugely encouraging for me is the quality of the group as a whole is such now that the drop-off (in quality) isn't significant at all."
