Scrappy win pleases Strachan

Celtic manager Gordon Strachan was relieved to take all three points from the game at Inverness Caledonian Thistle. The Bhoys appeared to be coasting to victory when they eased into a 2-0 lead but Garry Wood's goal for Caley Thistle meant a nervous last 20 minutes for the Bhoys boss. Strachan said: "They weren't easy conditions today, the wind and what have you. "We dealt with it. We're pleased we got a win because we knew it was going to be very hard. But it wasn't an easy game to referee, or play in, or watch I imagine. "So we're just glad to get the three points and make our way home from here to Manchester. "Gary Caldwell has got a few stitches in his foot. There are definitely a few knocks about the place, and we've got to try to find a team who can keep the ball and be a threat at Old Trafford."
