Samaras won't concede title

Striker Georgios Samaras still believes Celtic can snatch the SPL title from under the noses of Rangers following Tuesday's 2-1 win over Dundee United.

Samaras and Glenn Loovens scored the goals that moved the champions back to the top of the table.

Saturday's Old Firm defeat to Rangers has handed the title initiative to the Ibrox club, but Samaras is refusing to give up hope of ending the season as champions again.

"We believe in ourselves, we believe in our team and we believe that we will get two wins in the last two games and see where the helicopter is going to land at the last game," he said.

"The mentality is to fight until the end of the season and wait on a mistake from Rangers.

"It is not in our hands but what we wanted to do, and we started against United, was to take three wins. That is our target."
