Samaras revels in superb run

Celtic striker Georgios Samaras is hoping to maintain his superb recent form, having scored seven goals in his last four SPL outings.

The 23-year-old Greece international joined the Bhoys on a permanent basis from Manchester City in the summer and has quickly become a crowd favourite at Parkhead.

Samaras told the Daily Record: "There are no limits to what I can do at this club. No-one has limits. All that matters is how hard you push yourself to do more things.

"People keep asking me every game if that's the best I've played since I signed. What I will say is I'm feeling great about my football right now.

"I'm working really hard to make sure I can play as well as I possibly can. The results are coming, but I'm never happy with my performances.

"When I go home I'll watch the game and analyse how I played. When I watch the game I'll see my mistakes and I'll go about trying to correct them.

"I'm loving football again and I love playing under this manager. It's important your manager trusts you and believes in your abilities."
