Samaras wants to stay with Hoops

Greece striker Georgios Samaras insists he has no interest in quitting SPL giants Celtic for Palermo - or any other club.[LNB] Samaras has found his first-team starts at Parkhead limited since Tony Mowbray was sacked as manager in March.[LNB]While Palermo sporting director Walter Sabatini this week praised the 25-year-old's "qualities".[LNB]But Samaras said in the Scottish Sun: "I am not open for talks with other clubs because I am very happy in Glasgow.[LNB]"I have heard some talk, but nothing else.[LNB]"No one has spoken to me or my agent.[LNB]"To be honest with you, I am not looking to leave Celtic. I have a year to go and I am not looking to leave for Palermo or anyone else for that matter.[LNB]"I also believe we can achieve great things next season.[LNB]"My focus for now is the World Cup and after that I will return ready for pre-season with Celtic."
