Samaras happy as a Hoop

The end of season starts the rumour mill going over which player is going where. Georgios Samaras insists he has no interest in leaving Celtic for Palermo - or any other club. The Greece striker has found that his first-team starts at Parkhead are not so guaranteed since Tony Mowbray was replaced by Neil Lennon in March. While Palermo sporting director Walter Sabatini this week praised the 25-year-old's "qualities". However, Samaras said: "I am not open for talks with other clubs because I am very happy in Glasgow. I have heard some talk, but nothing else. No one has spoken to me or my agent. To be honest with you, I am not looking to leave Celtic. I have a year to go and I am not looking to leave for Palermo or anyone else for that matter. I also believe we can achieve great things next season. My focus for now is the World Cup and after that I will return ready for pre-season with Celtic."
