Georgios Samaras' lawyer has confirmed the Celtic striker is staying at Parkhead and will see out the remainder of his contract.[LNB] Speculation over the Greece international's future has been rife this month with Serie A outfit Palermo declaring their interest in the 25-year-old.[LNB]Although Samaras quickly rebuffed the move there had been recent quotes where the ex-Manchester City reportedly performed a U-turn.[LNB]However, Dr Gregory Ioannidis, Legal Counsel to Samaras, wants to put an end to the rumours by insisting his client is going nowhere.[LNB]Samaras is currently preparing for the World Cup finals in South Africa and has no thoughts of leaving Celtic this summer for pastures new, with one year remaining on his contract.[LNB]"We would like to dismiss all recent publications and/or rumours that Mr Samaras wishes to leave Celtic FC," read the statement.[LNB]"On the contrary, we would like to state unequivocally that Mr Samaras will see out his remaining year at Celtic until and when Celtic tell him otherwise.[LNB]"This is the time of the year where numerous reports claim things that do not reflect reality. Mr Samaras is preparing for and focusing on the World Cup and there are no other discussions with other clubs.[LNB]"We are instructed to see that these reports are put to a stop and we would seek to establish all the evidence and where appropriate seek remedies."
