Rogne sees sense in Husklepp swoop

Thomas Rogne would welcome the addition of fellow Norwegian Erik Huseklepp to the Celtic squad.

The Parkhead club are reportedly close to clinching a £1.3million deal with SK Brann Bergen for the services of the 26-year-old international striker.

"I wouldn't mind that at all. He's a great player. He is very technical and quick and he is tall, strong and powerful," said Rogne.

"He has done really well for his club in the Norwegian league and for the national team.

"He has been linked with a lot of good clubs and he is a quality player.

"I don't think Celtic needs to be sold to anyone, it's a massive club and everyone knows that.

"Celtic have great supporters, they play nice football and there is always pressure to win every game - but it's a good experience to have."
