Rogne eager to play

Celtic defender Thomas Rogne is prepared to let adrenalin take him through Sunday's Old Firm derby.

The Norwegian is hopeful of recovering from a calf problem in time for the Scottish Cup fifth-round clash at Ibrox. And he is willing to turn out if less than fully fit as Celtic bid to overcome a defensive crisis.

"I'm close, just taking it day by day, but it's getting better by the day," Rogne said.

"If it keeps on going like this, hopefully I am able to play.

"I wouldn't be able to play 90 minutes today but hopefully on Sunday.

"If I don't feel anything, I would play. In these games if you're not 100% fit in your body you're always going to get your mind into the game so your adrenalin will keep you fine.

"I'm not sure you have to be 100% - because it's such a massive game you are really up for it."
