Robson fitness boost for Hoops

Scotland midfielder Robson had been out with a troublesome groin injury since the start of February but lasted the full 90 minutes of the 1-0 victory on Wednesday night, which was sealed by a stunning solo strike from Paddy McCourt. Mark Wilson, who made his own comeback from injury in last week's friendly against Benfica, also played the entire game. Neil Lennon took charge of a largely second-string Celtic side, which included first-team squad member Marc Crosas. The winner arrived after 11 minutes when McCourt received a short corner from Graham Carey, ran at Cork full-back Cillian Lordan and jinked into space inside the box. There was still a lot of work to do, but McCourt lashed an unstoppable drive into the top corner from 15 yards. Both sides had chances to add to the scoreline but Celtic held on.
