Celtic defender Steven Pressley has targeted a return to the first team after revealing he has undergone surgery to cure a back problem. The 33-year-old Scotland international has not made an appearance for the Bhoys this season, but believes he will return a stronger force after going under the surgeon's knife last month. "This is something I have needed done for a wee while, and it is great to just get it done and out of the way now," he told the club's official website. "The doctors and myself are very pleased with how the operation has gone and I am looking forward to getting back to full fitness as soon as possible." Pressley could be back in first-team contention towards the end of November.
