Pools not shocked by Liddle link

Liddle, who has moved from a central midfield role into the heart of defence this season, has been one of Pools' most consistent performers.[LNB]Celtic boss Tony Mowbray kept tabs on the 23-year-old when he was in charge of West Brom and has continued to monitor his progress.[LNB]Turner told the Hartlepool Mail: "I would not be surprised at all if Celtic were interested. When we played West Brom last season, Tony Mowbray was really enthusiastic about Gary Liddle after the game.[LNB]"Jack Watson was Tony's north east scout at West Brom and he's taken him to Celtic. He will have seen Gary in nearly every game this season and will be telling him about him.[LNB]"The back four is doing very well at the moment. They haven't conceded away from home yet and Gary has been a major part of that."[LNB][LNB]
