Please stay Mcgeady

After a turbulent end to the season, Maloney wants a period of stability Shaun Maloney does not want Celtic to suffer a "massive loss" if Aiden McGeady were to leave the club. It has been reported that Spartak Moscow submitted an £8.3million bid for the Republic of Ireland player. Although it's understood the Russian club were given short shrift by Celtic it is unlikely to end interest in the Hoops youth team product, who has previously admitted harbouring hopes of playing in England. Maloney is in no doubt that it would be a huge loss to the Parkhead club if McGeady were to move on. The Hoops midfielder said: " Aiden would be a pretty massive loss. Last year, in a difficult year, he was our best player so if he was to go it would be a major loss but fingers crossed that it won't happen."
