PFA Scotland unveils team of the year

Celtic and Motherwell have provided four players each to the PFA Scotland SPL team of the year.

The Scottish champions are represented by defenders Adam Matthews, Kelvin Wilson and Charlie Mulgrew, as well as Victor Wanyama, in the XI voted best this season by their fellow professionals.

The efforts of the Steelmen - currently second in the SPL - is also acknowledged, with goalkeeper Darren Randolph, Shaun Hutchison, Nicky Law and Michael Higdon all making the cut. Inverness midfielder Andrew Shinnie, Aberdeen forward Niall McGinn and Leigh Griffiths of Hibernian make up the remainder of the team.

Four Rangers players were named in the Third Division team of the year, with skipper Lee McCulloch, Lee Wallace, Andy Little and David Templeton rated among the best in the bottom tier.
