Celtci appear confident that Joe Ledley will sign Celtic's squad for the trip to the United States includes the name of Joe Ledley despite the midfielder still to sign a contract. The Welsh internationalist is out of contract at Cardiff and is making his mind up between offers from Stoke and Celtic. The 23-year-old was offered a contract by Stoke manager Tony Pulis before he came to Glasgow to speak to Neil Lennon about a move to Parkhead. The lack of an official announcement following these discussions suggested that Ledley's proposed transfer to the Glasgow giants had stalled, but an agreement now appears to be imminent. Celtic's chief executive Peter Lawwell said: "You can be very confident about Joe Ledley coming to Celtic Football Club." Ledley could be confirmed as a Bhoys player within the next 24 hours after he was named in the squad for the pre-season tour of the USA. The Celtic squad fly out today and are due to face Major League Soccer side Philadelphia Union in midweek. Philadelphia have been given a list of Celtic players available for the friendly and Ledley's was included as one of Lennon's squad.
