O'Dea set for Ipswich loan move

Ipswich have been linked with a loan move for Celtic defender Darren O'Dea, with talks over the switch set to begin next week.[LNB] The Republic of Ireland centre-back, who spent a temporary spell at Reading last season, looks set for talks at Portman Road on Monday.[LNB]Celtic boss Neil Lennon said: "He doesn't want to be a squad player, he wants to play and I can't guarantee him that.[LNB]"Ipswich have made an enquiry to take him on loan so there is a possibility he will be down there on Monday.[LNB]"Ipswich have given him the opportunity to go and play and I think it will be good for him to get some games under his belt because we're bringing in other people allied to the ones we've got."
