Nakamura hails super Boruc

Celtic midfielder Shunsuke Nakamura has backed team-mate Artur Boruc to be named Scotland's player of the year despite being in the running for the award himself.
The Japan international believes the Bhoys' keeper should be rewarded for his excellent season despite many pundits tipping Nakamura for the accolade.
The former Yokohama Marinos midfielder has been a revelation since his arrival from Italian Serie A outfit Reggina in August 2005, and his form has peaked this season as Celtic sit 13 points clear at the summit of the SPL.
"Personally, I don't bother about awards like that as I'm more interested in making sure the team does well," said Nakamura.
"But I would like to see one of the Celtic players be the Scottish player of the year - and I would vote for Artur.
"In every game we play, he seems to pull of two or three brilliant saves and by him playing well, it encourages all the players to raise their game."
