Nakamura close to Japan return

According to sources in Japan, Nakamura has reached a basic agreement with the J-League club and will sign a deal for two years and eight months.[LNB]The salary terms have yet to be confirmed, but the offer Nakamura received from Yokohama is said to be substantially more than what Celtic and Espanyol were prepared to pay.[LNB]In a bid to sweeten their deal, Celtic included a clause which would allow the 30 year-old to join a J-League team whenever he wanted to, but this had little effect on Nakamura's desire to return home.[LNB]"I'm not allowed to go into detail about the discussion process, but the initial talks (with Yokohama) were very positive and we are moving in the right direction," his agent Robert Takuda told the local press.[LNB]To many pundits, Takuda's comments were interpreted as a delicate attempt to mask the fact that a deal has indeed been reached.[LNB]Barring a major disagreement between the two parties in the coming days, Celtic's talisman is expected to sport Yokohama's number 25 jersey sometime next week.[LNB][LNB]
