Celtic's Japanese midfielder Shunsuke Nakamura has been rewarded for an excellent season by winning the Scottish Football Writers' Association Player of the Year award.
Nakamura's Celtic team-mate Stephen McManus finished second in the voting.
SFWA president Jim Black said: "Shunsuke Nakamura has been a pleasure to watch.
"His two free-kicks against Manchester United in the Champions League and Kilmarnock to win the SPL sum him up.
"He can produce moments of brilliance under extreme pressure."
Hibernian midfielder Scott Brown was named the top young player of the year, while Bhoys boss Gordon Strachan secured the manager's award for the second season in a row.
