Murphy: Braga are in for a shock

raga will not know what has hit them when they run out for Wednesday's Champions League return against Celtic, according to Daryl Murphy.[LNB] The Portuguese runners-up will travel to Glasgow this week boasting a 3-0 lead in their third qualifying-round tie after a thumping first-leg win six days ago.[LNB]The advantage should be enough to end Celtic's Champions League dream for another season but summer signing Murphy claims the visitors will not have reckoned with the 60,000 baying fans that will greet them at Parkhead.[LNB]"They're in for a shock," said the striker, who joined from Sunderland two weeks ago.[LNB]"Obviously, they've heard about it and probably watched games on the television and seen it.[LNB]"But they'd obviously have to experience it for themselves and it will be very intimidating for them to come with such a packed stadium."[LNB]Murphy is desperate to start on Wednesday in what would be his competitive home debut.[LNB]"I'm definitely ready," said the 27-year-old.[LNB]"It's obviously up to the manager to choose who's going to play, or what way he's going to arrange the team.[LNB]"If I'm on the bench or if I'm starting, it doesn't matter. I'll be ready for it."[LNB]Murphy staked his claim by scoring in yesterday's 3-2 Emirates Cup defeat against hosts Arsenal.[LNB]The Irishman could have had a hat-trick, almost helping his side roar back from 3-0 down to snatch a draw and win the four-team tournament in London.[LNB]He added: "I will get chances as a striker.[LNB]"It's just a case of me taking the chances and scoring.[LNB]"You've seen the last 20 minutes, 30 minutes of the game, we put a lot of balls in the box and they were under a lot of pressure defending.[LNB]"We could've easily snatched an equaliser."[LNB]Scoring goals is the least of Celtic's worries heading into Wednesday's match.[LNB]They have struggled to keep them out during pre-season and Murphy knows failure to produce a clean sheet against Braga will be fatal.[LNB]"We need four as it is to win the game, so it is a big ask from us," he said.[LNB]"We definitely need to keep it tight at the back and keep a clean sheet.[LNB]"We gave ourselves a mountain to climb last Wednesday - stupid goals we're giving away - and we really need to not do that Wednesday."[LNB]Scoring will be made more difficult by the absence of Aiden McGeady from the starting XI, with manager Neil Lennon last night confirming the winger would only feature from the bench - if at all.[LNB]Lennon admitted McGeady may have played his last game for the club, amid transfer speculation that has seen Spartak Moscow bid for him and Aston Villa and Tottenham reportedly express an interest.[LNB]The Hoops boss also confirmed Finland boss Stuart Baxter had already begun acting as an advisor to him ahead of his first full season in charge.[LNB]
