Mulgrew warns against backlash

Charlie Mulgrew has warned Celtic to be wary of suffering a backlash at the hands of Aberdeen this weekend. The Hoops travel to Pittodrie on Saturday for the Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash. The last meeting between the two sides ended in a famous 9-0 win for Celtic, with the Dons suffering their biggest-ever defeat. Aberdeen have continued to struggle in matches since that thrashing at Parkhead, but Mulgrew believes it would be dangerous to treat his former club lightly. He told Huddle Online: "All it takes is just one result to turn things around. I spoke to some of the lads up there, who said that they have been working hard to try and get out of this rut. "They are hurting. But it's been shown that when a team plays Celtic it's a one-off, form goes out the window and players raise their game to try and beat us."
