Mowbray hails N'Guemo debut

Celtic manager Tony Mowbray was delighted with the display of loan signing Landry N'Guemo in the pre-season friendly at Cardiff City.

The game at the Bluebirds' new stadium ended goalless, but Mowbray was more than content with N'Guemo's debut following his arrival from Nancy.

He said after the game: "Landry N'Guemo is a good player. What you saw on Wednesday is what you get from him. You see that in training every day.

"He is a very good footballer and I've tracked him for about a year and a half.

"Eventually we have managed to get him and I am sure he will be an asset to the club, but he has got competition for his place when Scott Brown gets himself fit, of course.

"Let's wait and see. It's still very early, that was his first full game and he will only get better."
