    Mowbray: More still to do

    24 Aug 2009 - 11:42:38

Celtic manager Tony Mowbray was happy with his side's 5-2 home victory against St Johnstone on Saturday but was less than impressed with the manner in which they conceded two goals.

Captain Gary Caldwell gifted the visitors a way back into the game when the Bhoys were leading 2-0 and Mowbray was critical of the defender.

New signing Marc-Antoine Fortune scored a brace and now his attention turns to the Champions League game against Arsenal at the Emirates in midweek.

Mowbray said: "I would have preferred 5-0 but we showed we are capable of scoring plenty of goals, of having quality possession and asking loads of questions of the opposition.

"He (Caldwell) is an outstanding individual, and I just said to him there, 'Don't be your own worst enemy, don't feed the monster that is chasing you.'

"Do your job, be consistent, week-in, week-out.

"When the Arsenal tie came out, my idea of how the team might play was settled pretty quickly.

"The result of the first leg alters your thought patterns of how you might set up in the second leg.

"I understand that if we lose 2-0 again, I will be judged to have got the team wrong again but if we win 3-0 then hopefully everyone will be pretty happy."
