Spartak Moscow will not be buying McGeady Neil Lennon is said to be willing to fund his new signings by letting the likes of Aiden McGeady and Artur Boruc to move on. It looks as if Spartak Moscow will not be the destination or McGeady. There has been speculation in the press that the Russian club were willing to bid £8.3m for the winger. However, that appears to be just paper talk as Spartak's manager Valery Karpin says he is not about to dip into his funds to bring McGeady to his club. Karpin said: " I keep on hearing about our interest in Aiden McGeady. I know of him as a football player and I know his club, Celtic, but that's it. I am not interested in him."
