Mjallby welcomes the Commons touch

Johan Mjallby hailed Kris Commons after his double sunk Hamilton in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League on Saturday - but is still looking for more from the Celtic midfielder. The Parkhead assistant manager took over media duties from boss Neil Lennon who started a four-match touchline ban and had been given 24-hour security at his home after a suspicious package addressed to him was intercepted. It was an unsavoury build-up to a match that was going nowhere until four minutes from the interval when Commons sent a wonderful volley from 25 yards past Hamilton keeper Tomas Cerny. "He is a great signing," said Mjallby. "He is an important player for us and it is not only his goals. He can strike the ball well, he is very good to have when it comes to set pieces. "Hopefully this run is going to continue with him chipping in with goals and hopefully he will keep fit and improve."
