Miller: No basis for fixture complaints

Celtic have demanded an explanation from the Scottish Premier League over a run-in that sees their arch-rivals avoid a second trip of the season to third-place Hearts. Other clubs have also complained about their lot but Miller, 29, insists what goes around comes around after Rangers faced the most severe of fixture congestion last season following their run to the UEFA Cup final. He said in the Evening Times: "I don't think anyone can complain about fixtures, to be honest. "I don't remember hearing anyone complaining too loudly this time last year when Rangers had a massive fixture pile-up and I know the lads in our dressing room feel that certainly didn't help them in the league. "If this is the way it stands then that's it but people are being very disrespectful in all of this. "Hearts aside - who got a draw against us at Ibrox already this season - we have to go back to Easter Road (to play Hibernian) for a third time. "The way people are going on about it, you would think that we are going to play Hibs believing that we'll take all three points and that will be that. It's not like that at all. "Going to Easter Road three times in one season isn't ideal and they gave us a real game of it just the other weekend. They'll be up for it against us and I don't think we have won out of that particular fixture. "We just have to get on with it but I think some of the complaining that has been done about the fixture list is just petty when you take into consideration some of the things that Rangers had to put up with last year."
