McManus: Do it for Tommy

Celtic defender Stephen McManus is hoping to win the Scottish Premier League title in honour of the late Tommy Burns.

Assistant coach and former manager Burns passed away last week following a battle with skin cancer and his funeral was held just two days before their final game of the season on Thursday evening.

The Bhoys could secure the title at the expense of rivals Rangers if they defeat Dundee United at Tannadice.

"We've always said we were doing this for ourselves, but Tommy's death has changed things." said McManus.

"He'll certainly be our motivation and we'll dedicate any title win to him.

"It's a massive, massive game - probably the biggest any of us have been involved in.

"But we're focussed on the job and certainly believe we can go up there and win."
