iall McGinn is determined to ensure that the wide-right position is one that Celtic's new manager will not be looking to bolster this summer.[LNB] The Parkhead club continue their search for Tony Mowbray's successor with Neil Lennon waiting to see if his record during his time as interim boss will get him the nod.[LNB]The Irishman took over from Mowbray in March and won all eight of his SPL games in charge with the only black mark being the Active Nation Scottish Cup semi-final defeat to Irn-Bru First Division side Ross County.[LNB]While the Celtic board look for their next manager, loan striker Robbie Keane will go back to Tottenham and Diomansy Kamara is set to return to Fulham, and there will be the usual summer speculation over the future of winger Aiden McGeady.[LNB]McGinn, 22, who joined Celtic from Derry City in January 2009, said that after being in and out of the team last season, he is looking to pin down his position - regardless of who comes in.[LNB]"We have to be back on July 1 and hopefully by then we will know who the manager is, who our new signings are and which players have gone," the Northern Ireland international said.[LNB]"I pushed into the team last season and made a name for myself so my main aim next season is to hold down a place and play week-in, week-out.[LNB]"I think I have gained enough experience last year to do that.[LNB]"I have a lot to improve upon but I played in Europe and scored a few goals.[LNB]"It's just a waiting game for the players just now to see whether Lenny keeps the job or not.[LNB]"He has served the club well, he has enough passion for it and he could do a great job if he got the opportunity to be the manager next season.[LNB]"He seems to be keen on me but if he stays I will need to keep impressing him.[LNB]"However, if there is a change of manager, it would be nice if he knows a bit about me and is also keen on me.[LNB]"But when any new manager comes in you have to impress them as soon as they come in and hopefully I will get the chance to do that, whether it is in games or in training."[LNB]McGinn and his agent, Gerry Carlile, were being joined in Belfast on Thursday for the opening of their new restaurant, Failte, by several members of the Hoops' squad, including McGeady, Paddy McCourt, Cillian Sheridan, Jos Hooiveld, Darren O'Dea and Marc Crosas.[LNB]McGinn revealed the Celtic players had all been sent away for the summer with individual fitness programmes to ensure they are in the best possible condition to attempt to regain the SPL title from Rangers.[LNB]"We all received our own personal programmes for the summer so we come back with a reasonable level of fitness and hit the ground running, if you'll pardon the pun," the former Dungannon Swifts player said.[LNB]"You are wearing monitors every day in training so you can't hide.[LNB]"We had a meeting with the sports scientist to look at the figures and see the improvement over the last months and years.[LNB]"My fitness levels have improved massively since I came from Derry City and midfielders do the most running so I need a good level of fitness.[LNB]"Everyone knows there is room for improvement so I will be working on that.[LNB]"Looking back on the season, it wasn't great. Rangers obviously haven't brought any few faces in during the last couple of seasons so they have a good relationship among the players.[LNB]"We have had a lot of changes, especially in January.[LNB]"Our main concern is to kick off the season on a high and go and win the title back."
