McGeouch poised to resume training

Celtic midfielder Dylan McGeouch is set to return to training next week following his broken jaw.
McGeouch had a plate inserted in his jaw after being knocked unconscious by an aerial challenge from Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin in the Philadelphia friendly on August 11.
McGeouch told the club's official website: "Being out for a few weeks has been frustrating as everything has been fine with my legs but it' been a waiting game with my jaw, so hopefully I can get back into training and push on and get back into the squad as soon as possible and see how it goes.
"I have just been trying to get myself as fit as possible, so when I'm back in training, I haven't lost much.
"But they've been holding me back a bit in case it gets damaged, which is right. It's not worth taking any chances and we will just wait until it sets and then I will get back into it again.
"The surgeon just said it depends on how I feel at this stage, so hopefully I will start training on Monday and get a full week under my belt and see how it takes me."
The incident prompted a worried Neil Lennon to come on to the pitch as McGeouch was given treatment and then carried off on a stretcher wearing a neck brace.
The 19-year-old was shielded from the genuine concern everyone else had given he was unconscious, and he admits he watched the footage on television out of curiosity.
"When I got home obviously everyone was talking about it, so I thought I would give it a go as I couldn't remember it," he said.
"I watched it a few times and cringed at it a wee bit, but it looks a lot worse than it actually was.
"I'm just thankful to be here. It's hard to watch sometimes but you just need to get it over and done with and it's fine now so I'm happy."
